Biopharmaceutical company PSK Pharma and the Dubna Special Economic Zone (SEZ Dubna) have signed a cooperation agreement focused on sustainable development. The partnership aims to implement principles of environmental and social responsibility, enhance corporate governance, and improve the monitoring of sustainability metrics.
The agreement establishes a long-term collaboration in the realm of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria. Through this joint effort, PSK Pharma and SEZ Dubna intend to exchange expertise and best practices, provide mutual informational and methodological support, and develop and execute collaborative initiatives.
Special emphasis will be placed on promoting ESG principles and disseminating successful practices. PSK Pharma will participate in creating a roadmap for joint activities to implement the agreement and will contribute proposals for the further evolution of ESG approaches. For its part, SEZ Dubna will provide the company with informational and methodological support, including the provision of materials on sustainable development and the showcasing of successful implementation examples.
"For the pharmaceutical industry, ESG is not merely a trend; it is the cornerstone of social responsibility and safety. Our synergy with the SEZ serves as an optimal vehicle for embedding sustainable development principles. By pooling our resources, we not only elevate the quality of our own corporate governance but also make a tangible contribution to the environmental and social well-being of the region," stated Evgenia Shapiro, General Director of PSK Pharma.
The parties plan to jointly define cooperation priorities and coordinate initiatives designed to foster responsible business practices within the Dubna Special Economic Zone. A roadmap, including specific initiatives and their respective implementation timelines, must be developed and approved within 30 calendar days of the agreement’s signing.
The partnership will serve as a foundation for systematic efforts to advance ESG practices and strengthen the principles of sustainable development within the business environment of the special economic zone.
