A new pharmaceutical complex in Dubna will produce medications for the treatment of pulmonary, oncological, and hematological diseases.

The second phase of the research, development, and production complex of the biopharmaceutical company PSK Pharma has been built in the Dubna Special Economic Zone. The Main Directorate of State Construction Supervision of the Moscow Region inspected the facility and issued a certificate of compliance with the design documentation.

The total floor area of the building is over 19,500 square meters. It will house research, development, production, warehouse, and state-of-the-art office units. The company will manufacture medications for the treatment of pulmonary, oncological, rheumatological, hematological, and other diseases. Automated production lines for empty hard gelatin capsule shells under the PHARMCAPS® brand have been purchased and installed for the new complex. These lines have a total capacity of over 3 million capsules per day, which will initially meet up to 50% of market demand.

"The launch of the new plant in Dubna is not just an expansion of capacity but also a qualitatively new stage in the development of Russian pharmaceuticals. New production lines that meet global standards have been purchased and installed, and staff is being expanded and training is underway, including at our current production facility. Over 5 billion rubles have been invested in the construction and equipment of the second phase. Overall, 12 billion rubles have been invested in the development of the company's entire production complex to date," said Evgenia Shapiro, CEO of PSK Pharma.
