Rabeprazole PSC
Indications for Use:
Rabeprazole PSC is used for the treatment of adults aged 18 and over who are unable to take oral therapy or for whom oral therapy is not indicated, in conditions such as:
- Acute duodenal ulcer with bleeding or severe superficial (erosive) mucosal lesions
- Acute gastric ulcer with bleeding or severe erosive lesions
- Short-term treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) with erosive or ulcerative lesions
- Prevention of reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus and airways (aspiration of acidic stomach contents)
- Stress-induced damage to the gastrointestinal mucosa in critical conditions
- Pathological conditions associated with increased stomach acidity (hypersecretory conditions), including Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
- Step-down therapy from oral rabeprazole in cases where the patient was previously treated with oral rabeprazole and cannot temporarily take it orally for any reason
