Indications for Use: Caspofungin PSK is indicated for the treatment of the following fungal infections in adults and children aged 3 months and older: empirical therapy in patients with febrile neutropenia when fungal infection (caused by Candida or Aspergillus) is suspected;invasive candidiasis (including candidemia) in neutropenic and non-neutropenic patients;invasive aspergillosis in patients who are refractory to or intolerant of other therapy, including amphotericin B (including its liposomal formulation) and/or itraconazole; esophageal candidiasis; oropharyngeal candidiasis.

This product is included in the Essential Drug List (EDL).
