Indications for Use: 

The drug Iloprost PSK is used in adults over the age of 18 for the treatment of patients with moderate and severe pulmonary hypertension

• Primary (idiopathic) pulmonary arterial hypertension or familial (present in family medical histories) pulmonary arterial hypertension;
• Pulmonary arterial hypertension associated with connective tissue disease, or induced by drugs or toxins;
• Pulmonary hypertension due to chronic formation of dense blood clots (thrombi) in the vessels (chronic thromboembolic disease) and/or acute circulatory disturbances in the lungs caused by obstruction of major arteries or their smaller branches by thrombi (pulmonary embolism), when surgical treatment is not indicated or feasible.
