Indications for use:

Famotidine is indicated for the treatment of:

• Duodenal ulcer;
• Benign gastric ulcer;
• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD);
• Conditions associated with hypersecretion of gastric acid (e.g., Zollinger-Ellison syndrome);
• Prevention of acid aspiration (Mendelson's syndrome) during general anesthesia.

This product is included in the Essential Drug List (EDL).
